Rahul Gandhi: 5 Yuva Nyay Will Ensure Nyay For Every Youth

The 55th day of the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra began with a visit to the Kamboi Dham in Karath, Dahod District of Gujarat. Kamboi Dham is the memorial site of Shri Govind Guru Ji. He passed away here in October 1931. Born as Govind Giri Banjara, Guru Ji was a social and spiritual leader and a freedom fighter. He was a strong voice for women’s and tribal rights. The yatra began by paying homage to Shri Govind Guru Ji in Dahod and continued to the Panchmahal district. Welcoming events were organized at Birsa Munda Chowk, Limkheda, and Pipalod during the Nyay Yatra.

The Nyay Yatra and the reception of Congress leaders attracted thousands of people. The gathering at the welcome sites was so massive that people were everywhere, and the roads were completely crowded. Everyone was eager to meet the Congress leader, share their problems, and take photos with him. The chants of ‘Rahul Gandhi Zindabad, Congress Party Zindabad’ echoed through the area.

As the procession moved forward, it reached Santroda, where a lunch break was arranged. After the lunch break, Rahul Gandhi’s roadshow started from Godhra. Thousands of people participated in the roadshow, with the slogans of ‘Rahul Gandhi Zindabad’ and ‘Congress Party Zindabad’ resonating in the entire region.

During his address, Rahul Gandhi talked about the challenges faced by the youth in India. He said, ‘In every district I visited during Bharat Jodo Yatra, people told me about a few things. First, that the youth in India cannot find employment. The big industrialists have captured the country’s capital, and the small businesses, a speciality of Gujarat, are slowly being finished off. Demonetization and GST are tools that eliminate small businessmen and shopkeepers. Through this, a conspiracy is being hatched to give all the money to three or four big industrialists.’

‘First, the Ordnance factories used to make weapons. Now, all the contracts have been given to Adani. Now, Adani is also making weapons. The Agniveer plan is not liked by the youth of India or the army because they know our soldiers will not get any security. They will receive only three to four years of training. Through this, the path of the army for the youth has been closed. First, public sector companies like BHEL and HAL used to operate, which are being closed one by one. In this way, they are also closing the paths for the unemployed youth.’

‘Yesterday in Rajasthan, the Congress Party made some announcements for the youth. The first announcement was that there are currently 30 lakh vacant government jobs. As soon as our government comes, we will fill these jobs and provide employment to 73% of the people. The second announcement is that youth keep looking for jobs after college and university. Now, we are bringing a new law, the Right To Apprenticeship. This means that as soon as a youth graduates from college, the government of INDIA will provide him with one year of paid training. The third announcement is that we will create a fund of Rs 5000 crore and send it to the district level. Those who want to start a business will be given this money.’

He further discussed a new law against paper, testing, and checking outsourcing, emphasizing that only government institutions would conduct exams. If anyone leaks the paper, legal action will be taken against them.

‘90% of people work as laborers, and farmers, work honestly, and do not get any share in their country. We want to change that. Whether it’s a poor person, a farmer, or a small shopkeeper, they should also have access to bank doors. Narendra Modi ji waived off the debt of industrialists worth 16 lakh crores in the last ten years. But the poor, laborers, farmers, and youth do not get a single rupee waived off. Narendra Modi ji talked about Make in India and Start-up India, but where are they today? Even if a few exist, the control is in foreign hands. To counter this, we will create a fund of 5000 crores. It will not be in Delhi but will go to the district and block levels. To begin a start-up, we will send 10-20 crores for the children of poor laborers and farmers at the block level. This is the basic difference between them and us. They work to break people, and we work to unite them.’

After this address, the yatra proceeded towards Halol. A program was organized at the Congress Bhavan in Halol to welcome the Nyay Yatra and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Following the event, the yatra moved forward. A roadshow led by Rahul Gandhi commenced from the bus stand square in Halol. Thousands of people eagerly awaited the procession at this location, and a large crowd accompanied the yatra. After a halt at Maharana Pratap Chowk, Rahul Gandhi addressed the people.

Rahul Gandhi discussed the Yuva Nyay Manifesto of the Congress Party in his speech. He elaborated on the five pillars of the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, focusing on caste census, Arthik Nyay, Samajik Nyay, and putting control of the country in the hands of 73% of the population. He interacted with the audience, highlighting the stark economic disparities in the country.

Rahul Gandhi mentioned that industrialists like Adani wake up every morning and check how much of India’s wealth has come into their bank accounts. At the same time, the majority of the population never questions their financial status. He shared statistics revealing that 21 individuals in India possess wealth equivalent to 50% of the population, and the poorest 50% hold only 3% of the country’s wealth.

He then outlined decisions taken for the youth: First, a Promise to fill 30 lakh vacant government positions. Second, the introduction of a new law providing the Right To Apprenticeship for college graduates. Third, a fund of Rs 5000 crores will be established at the district level to support those aspiring to start their own businesses.

Following the address, the Nyay Yatra proceeded towards the night camp in Jambughoda, Panchmahal district. The Yatra will cover the Chhota Udaipur, Narmada, and Bharuch districts tomorrow.

“Any individual in the country who feels subjected to injustice, experiencing any form of unfair treatment, holds the potential to transform into a Nyay Yoddha. If you harbour the aspiration to become a Nyay Yoddha, give a missed call at 9891802024.”
